What a magnificent writing retreat near Winnipeg! Notebooks and hearts were filled with great willingness and openness. Big thanks to this terrific group of women.
The yearly moving pen 'readings from writing practice' once again took place at Ben McNally Books, in November, 2017. It was a magnificent reading, enhanced by a receptive capacity audience.

The 5th annual women's writing retreat took place in September 2015, at our 'home' retreat centre near Coburg-- full of rich and inspiring experiences.
June 2010 saw 'the moving pen' participate in The Silver Screens Arts Festival at Ryerson University.
In 2009, 'the moving pen' travelled to England, where we wrote in a beautiful old stone home, and ate well!
